SWIM FOR HEALTH

About us
Welcome to Busselton Masters Swimming Club Inc.
Fitness, Friendship and Fun — for LifeBusselton Masters is a vibrant and inclusive swimming club offering both pool and open water swims for adults aged 18 and over. Whether you’re looking to improve your fitness, meet like-minded swimmers, or simply enjoy the water, our club offers something for everyone in the Busselton and Southwest community.
We proudly offer regular sessions at the Geographe Leisure Centre and social ocean swims at scenic locations along our beautiful coastline. Beyond swimming, our community thrives on connection — through special events, community BBQs, and shared laughter both in and out of the water.
Founded on 10 March 2015 with just 20 pioneering members, we have since grown to over 125 swimmers strong. In 2019, we formalised our club structure by adopting a Constitution and By-Laws, officially incorporating as Busselton Masters Swimming Club Inc.
As proud members of both Masters Swimming Western Australia and Masters Swimming Australia, we provide our swimmers with access to a lifelong swimming pathway — from social swims to competitive opportunities, state-wide events, and beyond.

Coach the Coaches Workshop – Busselton
Busselton Masters Swimming Club is hosting an exciting new Coach the Coaches Professional Development Workshop on 14 December at the Geographe Bay Yacht Club.
Designed for swim coaches and program leaders across the South-West, this session features Olympic open-water swimmer Kyle Lee, ASCTA Advanced Coach Andrew Sexton, and coach educator Julie O’Connor.
Coaches will learn open-water physiology, practical training methods, and how to prepare swimmers from the pool for ocean conditions. An interactive session will see attendees collaborate to create open-water training programs, which will be shared among all participants. The morning concludes with in-water practical training.
This workshop is part of the Stronger Coaches, Stronger Clubs initiative, proudly supported by the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Support.
